Today I attended the Murdered Abroad conference in Nottingham. I heard from people across the country whoâs loved one were taken from them in foreign countries. The government has continued to let so many families down, leaving them in the dark. Itâs time for a change.

I've tabled an amendment to the Victims & Courts Bill which would give Murdered Abroad families the same rights as families of homicide victims in the UK. We need as many MPs as possible to sign this amendment. Please write to your MP today to ask them to sign NC3.

A grim milestone: new record Crown Court backlog leaves victims waiting years for justice. Leveson may offer hope, but change will take time-and meanwhile, victim support services face cuts. Victims shouldnât shoulder this burden alone. My statement: victimscommissioner.org.uk/news/yet-anothâŠ
