Joshua Reynolds MP Huge thanks to Joshua Reynolds MP MP for raising awareness of Murdered Abroad and the families we support. Roderick was attacked and killed in Paris in 1997. This week was the funeral of Rod's business partner. Memories and emotions came flooding back. We never truly recover.

80 British families a year lose a loved one to homicide overseas - it’s time our Govt provided them with the support they need to help them through their living nightmare. #MurderedAbroad

Interesting to see how much traction the Robert Jenrick video is getting. Clearly it resonates with many, but a reminder that blaming a Labour mayor for unchecked lawbreaking on the tube does not account for cuts to policing and justice system imposed by Tory governments.

Today I attended the Murdered Abroad conference in Nottingham. I heard from people across the country who’s loved one were taken from them in foreign countries. The government has continued to let so many families down, leaving them in the dark. It’s time for a change.

We are looking for volunteers who can help us train the next generation of hearing dogs. As a volunteer trainer, you’ll look after one of our adorable young dogs for anywhere between 6-18 months, and you'll have full support from a Hearing Dogs Trainer >> ow.ly/P0sX50VUpOC

Whilst the death did not occur abroad it once again shows the questionable actions of the FCDO when dealing with death that involves a foreign county - it appears it’s let’s not upset the foreign country syndrome bbc.co.uk/news/articles/

I've tabled an amendment to the Victims & Courts Bill which would give Murdered Abroad families the same rights as families of homicide victims in the UK. We need as many MPs as possible to sign this amendment. Please write to your MP today to ask them to sign NC3.

A grim milestone: new record Crown Court backlog leaves victims waiting years for justice. Leveson may offer hope, but change will take time-and meanwhile, victim support services face cuts. Victims shouldn’t shoulder this burden alone. My statement: victimscommissioner.org.uk/news/yet-anoth
