Ahmed Al-Najjar, 18 months. He had a name and the cutest cheeks. He was the beheaded baby in Rafah. Grateful for outlets like Al Jazeera English reminding us of the humanity behind the horrific images and endless casualty numbers.

One thing I'm left with at the end of UofT Occupy for Palestine: the failure of media to engage with what actually happened there, and the likely inability now to accurately summarize or thoughtfully reflect on what happened, because there was so little curiosity to begin with
