This paper is really my #1! My 1st publication and the 1st paper for the lab. It's an honor to be the 1st grad student in Nik Joshi and to take the journey with 1st postdoc Martina Damo (and the whole lab!) on this foundational work - can't wait to see what the future brings!

“NINJA” is a new tool for creating tumor cell lines with inducible neoantigen expression, which will help researchers study antitumor immunity. Read the study by Koch Institute at MIT, Brittany Fitzgerald, Martina Damo & Nik Joshi via Nature Biotechnology: go.nature.com/3giXNf2

Excited to see this Online in Science Immunology describing a reservoir of stem-like T cells in draining LNs. Congrats to Kelli Anne and colleagues in Cui Lab (Weiguo Cui) and Krishnaswamy Lab and Zhao lab. Thanks also to Yale Cancer Center for highlighting our work. yalecancercenter.org/news-article/y…

Very excited the work from Brittany Fitzgerald published describing the KP-NINJA lung adenocarcinoma model. This improved model addresses some of the key drawbacks to the existing KP model that used lentiviral means to program tumors to express neoantigens.🧵 cell.com/cell-reports-m…

HELLO! Our latest story is now out online Cell showing tumor neoantigens with B cell-epitopes promote B cell-TFH interactions and IL-21 that drives CD8 T cell effector function in tumors. Congrats @cancuiyale, Joe Craft, and our co-authors! cell.com/cell/fulltext/…

You did it @cancuiyale Nik Joshi!!! I got to see this develop over the years and this was an absolutely heroic effort from Can. Well deserved spot in Cell today.
