New preprint: osf.io/preprints/psya…. In it, we did a deep dive into two participants in our screenshot study that were hospitalized for suicidal crises. Was fun to purposely avoid statistics and see how much we could learn through producing figures.

Really happy that this paper is finally out: tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.10…. Led by Ken McClure, we showed why items, not scale scores, should be used if prediction is the goal.

As I transition to UW Madison Department of Psychology next year, I am hiring a Lab Coordinator. This would be a great position for someone with a passion for self-injury / suicide research and looking to improve their skillset prior to graduate school! google.com/url?q=https://…

A product of her Master's work, Caitlin O'Loughlin just recently published a new measure of NSSI self-stigma. Her work also suggests that Corrigan's progressive model of self-stigma may not be a good fit for all concealed identities. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
