.AHS Girl’s Basketball is going to be a force to be reckreckoned with this year. Led by returning all-staters Brooke Walker and Alana Shetlar and newcomer aliyah green, they roll past Campus in their season-opener. They finished 4th a year ago and will be in the running again.

Can’t fully express how proud I am of Brooke Walker. Very few know what pain you played through this year with two ankle sprains (one severe) and a labrum tear with chipped bone in your left shoulder that dislocated 4 times in the last year.

Today that large tear required 6 anchors to repair (Thanks Dr. Brennen Lucas). You prioritized team goals over personal goals in search of the undefeated state champion season, and felt the real pain of losing when you were so close. You are the toughest young leader I know.
