Proud of the terrific career of Antoni Castells . Got his PhD at the BCLC with several research studies and then moved to colon cancer, a field where he has established a productive network with practice changing results. This besides being Medical Director of Hospital ClĂnic!!!

Interesting to see aristolochic signature in lung cancer pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/40604281/ as seen in liver as shown by Jean-Charles Nault in pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31041788/ Herbal and nonherbal remedies bear a risk despite being named as natural. Major effort is needed to succeed and to keep success in place when founding leaders retire. This applies to corporations/research teams. Effort may not be fruitful, but no effort leads to failure. The past is there but renovated ambition & updated vision are key Xavier Marcet

Major sadness because of the death of Jaume Bosch. Was his 1st fellow in his hemodynamic lab, became my lifelong mentor and finally a close friend. We will miss his scientific input, the time shared sailing or dining, but always having a critical insight. A big hug for Annalisa Berzigotti
