The ⁊Birmingham Dispatch⁩ doing the Brummie lord’s work as always. Fascinating real time demonstration that the fantastic local Birmingham paper was ultimately born from a Manc success. Makes you think. This is an essential read for West Midlands Combined Authority⁩ birminghamdispatch.co.uk/manchesters-ec

This is a really great piece of reportage. Excellent, but sobering report. Transport really is a major barrier to the growth and social (and literal) mobility across the region.

Dan Cave Simon Paul Felton Birmingham Dispatch Terrific, fascinating article. We've been city-centre living for nearly 9 years (rare owner-occupiers in a largely tenanted building). Our balcony, the Bullring markets, and the canal make it liveable for me. Though I miss the greenery, my partner loves access to the shops.
