Year 6 completed Forest School activities with Miss Lewis- these included finding different textures as well as building monoliths as past of our Expressive Arts curriculum 🍃 🍁 🪨

Whilst studying the life of Queen Elizabeth II, Year 6 created a collaborative piece of art using the Queen’s Coat of Arms👍

Year 6 had a visit from Bethan from yeah to conduct a STEM science experiment using carbon dioxide as part of our Science and Technology curriculum to demonstrate global warning. We measured the temperature of the air, observing the temperature rising because of carbon dioxide 🌎

During our visit from Bethan yeah groups have been finding out about how much sunlight is needs to power a fan, light or buzzer as part of our STEM Science and Technology curriculum😁👍🌎

Y6 visited Crucial Crew and learned about seatbelt safety, personal safety, the dangers of drugs, electricity and fire and how important food hygiene is👍👍👍

Spanish Christmas with Gwent Music 🎼 The hall was decorated with poinsettias, Mr Oliver made us churros. We found out about Spanish Christmas traditions, we practised Spanish greetings and sang Feliz Navidad which was accompanied by Y1 percussion, Y2 ukuleles and Y3 P-Buzz 🇪🇸🎼
