If a group is a proscribed terrorist organisation, showing support for it is support for terrorism. You can’t have it both ways.

A brilliant article, HIGHLY recommended! > In a degraded echo of the Popular Front, the Millennial Left liquidated itself in the name of anti-fascism. Faced with the threat of Trump, it became little more than the “radical” wing of the Democrats. In the end, it failed even to

"In a society that is continually disintegrating...one moment, left-wing identity politics has the upper hand; when fatigue sets in, right-wing identity politics takes over; and when people have had enough of that, the baton is passed back to the left. And so it goes on."

As someone partially derived from a culture that has the the trad extended family, trust me, it ain't all that is cracked up to be. Besides, the bourgeois nuclear family was historically progressive as it was the basis for the individual as a social product and gender equality.

This is despite the fact that bourgeois nuclear family had its own form of misogyny that was different from misogyny of the trad extended/communal family.

'The desire for America to exist free of foreign entanglements is a fantasy that can’t be realised.' Tucker Carlson is struggling to come to terms with the reality of America First, writes Ralph Leonard 👇 buff.ly/ErMqzAP

"The core problem with the conservative anti-imperialism of Carlson and his followers is that they think the American empire arose simply as the result of a bad moral choice or the iniquities of a nefarious, greedy elite, rather than out of real historical trends & necessities."

Tucker Carlson's interview with Masoud Pezeshkian will do nothing to enhance wider understanding of the Iran-Israel war. Ralph Leonard 👇 buff.ly/ErMqzAP

Is it me, of wasn't "Black Marxism" (i.e Cedric Robinson) a bit of a fad again a few years ago - really post-George Floyd? And now its, seemingly, died down.

As I contemplate here: "Forgive the pessimism, but perhaps [liberalism], and socialism were merely historically transitory phenomena? Products of a history that will one day be remembered as a golden age of human genius, as fondly as the Roman Republic and Greek democracy."

We're stuck in a cycle of tit-for-tat overcorrection for the sake of discourse that just reinforces immovable fault lines.

Winning a war isn't necessarily decided by how many people you kill In WW2, Germany killed 4 Soviet soldiers for every German, and even killed (slightly) more American soldiers than German soldiers killed by Americans and still lost.
