Jack Daniels was a member of my touring band for many years. I recently had the opportunity to touch base with him again when I played at the Ryman Auditorium on February 2nd in Nashville. Jack went on to co-found the very sucessful group Highway 101.

40 years ago, Canadian artists came together under the name Northern Lights to record the song "Tears Are Not Enough". It coincided with Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas?" in the United Kingdom and USA for Africa's "We Are the World" to raise funds for relief of the famine
