I celebrate the wonderful women working in my group: sarad'aronco Emilia E Bushrod Tegan Hull and Maisie Hobbs. The Giorio's Research Group Cambridge Chemistry #InternationalWomensDay

Throughout April, 4 members of our group walked a total of 1,681,225 steps to compete in the Cambridge Chemistry Virtual Team Step Challenge. Our team, the 'Red Hot Chilli Steppers', came in at an impressive 3rd place! Well done sarad'aronco , Daniele Filippi , jayaprakash & Emilia E Bushrod !

I'm very excited to be presenting a poster and a lightning talk at the Royal Meteorological Society 's Atmospheric Science Conference 2022-23 on Wednesday! (Though a bit nervous for the lightning talk!⚡️)


Two of our PhD students did a great job at presenting at the Royal Meteorological Society National Centre for Atmospheric Science Atmospheric Science Conference #ASC2022 both Emilia and Lorrie presented a poster and a lightning talk on their research!

The new RFU policy on transgender players is a step backwards in equality and inclusion. I'm proud that CURFU's representative took so much time to discuss the proposal with current CURUFC players and voted against the policy. Thank you Dick Tyler! Read CURUFC's statement below

Two of our PhD students have spent a couple of days at the British Antarctic Survey British Antarctic Survey 🐧 2022 Student Symposium! 1st year student, Siobhan Johnson presented a 1 minute introduction to her research and 3rd year student, Emilia Bushrod gave a 10 minute presentation on her work








My poster, titled "Using Ice Cores to Analyse Tropospheric Ozone", won joint 3rd place in the Pembroke College Cambridge Postgraduate Poster Exhibition. People from all different faculties were there, so making my research understandable by all was a fun challenge! See the poster below!
