I (Rob) am not sure that X is the space for happy pics any more, but I don't care. 12 years ago we got married on the shores of Wastwater and each and every day I count my blessings.

Just in case your day needed a singing robin, well, one popped up to perform for us yesterday. There were a few around #watersmeet in #Exmoor all trying to sonically rise above the white-water clamour and doing an excellent job.

Thought that we would get involved with #thicktrunktuesday for the first time with this old, pollarded oak seen last week in the woods above Porlock in #exmoor in Hawkcombe NNR. This was the biggest of many such awesome trees.

With all the Big Stuff happening at the moment sometimes it's worth looking down at the little (amazing!) stuff that goes on. Last week we came across this colony of wood ants in Horner Wood #Exmoornationalpark I'm sure folk have studied them so wondered why they were so active?

Very much looking forward to running this and meeting other artists/arts organisations who are entangled in/with the pressing climate and biodiversity emergency.

Ten yrs ago I (Rob) went to Nepal to work as a porter on the Everest Trail. I wanted to find out more about their lives & how tough it might be (very). I made a film of the experience and made portraits on my #realfilm large format camera. I'll post some portraits in coming days

The Legend that is Guillemot the springer has just turned 14 and we thought that X doesn't quite show enough awesome in these challenging times, so here he is, looking awesome. Still always up for a walk he is the silent partner in our business. Guilly, we salute you 🙌

As promised 4 of 30 portraits I made on my large format camera as part of my iPorter project 10 yrs ago in Everest region. I'd love to be able to show these images somewhere again & perhaps do a project revisit - but I'm not up for being a porter again! ILFORD PHOTO Royal Geographical Society (with IBG)

On the longest day we visited the 3 treefolds we created across Cumbria seven years ago to see how the trees are. A very fine way to spend time, especially catching sunrise through the opening at treefold:centre in Grizedale Sculpture Other two on Friends of Ullswater and Little Asby

Trigger-alert. Midges! re-visiting the Cumbria #treefolds that we built in 2017 on the longest day was not all joy. We were joined to watch the sunrise in Grizedale Sculpture at treefold:centre by about a gazillion blood-sucking blighters. @WoodlandTrust Lake District

We are enjoying our involvement in the LUNZ Hub and will soon be sharing a film with views from landusers from the 4 UK nations that was used to provoke conversations at this event. Lots to think about and work through!
