Today we said goodbye to Ray Long Chicago Tribune. A special reporter. I called him “The Franchise.” We rolled through Madiganistan in 2019 reporting on an alderman’s wild blunder. In 2024 we chronicled corrupt Chicago history. He visited my grandma when she was dying. Great man.
