New article in JAMA Cardio! We investigated the long-term effect of reducing systolic BP to <120 mm Hg for ~3 years on CVD and all-cause mortality. Sadly, no evidence of long-term benefit, likely because maintaining BP control post-trial was a challenge. jamanetwork.com/journals/jamac…
