It's publication day for All Our Ordinary Stories! 💙💕Arsenal Pulp Press @by_teresawong instagram.com/reel/DAToUw-vp…

ANNOUNCEMENT: We’re now accepting submissions, until November 1st, for the 2025 Invisible Publishing First Novel Prize. Read more about it here: invisiblepublishing.com/2024/09/25/the… The prize is presented in partnership with York University’s Book Publishing program.

I had a lot of fun with this interview! Thanks, Paul Semel 💙💕

Thank you Toronto Star and La Presse for publishing our letter, signed by eight winners of the Giller Prize. We have benefited, and also participated in Scotiabank public relations. It is not out of line, I feel, to ask them to listen to the artists they claim to respect.

Fans of graphic novels won’t want to miss this event with three exceptional artists—Tessa Hulls, Teresa Wong @teresawong.bsky.social, & Sarah Leavitt—on October 26 with Emily Chou. writersfest.bc.ca/festival-event…

Just to be clear: in June, a group of Giller Prize winners raised the money to fund this year's prize for winner and shortlist. Not anywhere near $100,000 but a meaningful amount. We offered it. It was turned down. Yes, it is on the record. No, I will not share private emails.

Thank you so, Jackie Wong, for reading and writing about my work with such care. Also, I'm so glad that you found the book funny! 💙💕

Read Rebecca Solnit and absorb that hope is not a bird in the sky you hope lands near you, it’s an active orientation. You find it in the care for someone else or something else outside of yourself. It’s bigger than you. It’s an act of cultivation. Rub two sticks together.
