I just noticed that on iPad, the app shortcut menu organises the system controls into an 'Options' submenu. Hopefully, they bring that to the phone too.

I like how the press release says this succession is long planned, and yet they aren’t ready to say who is taking over Apple Watch and Health initiatives. Also, Cook (himself set to retire in the foreseeable future) has so many direct reports now lol.

Beta 2 went so overboard on the Apple Watch Control Center light effects, it was like a disco ball of colours spilling into their neighbours. Beta 3 is a return to calm.

I have a ~8-inch infotainment screen in my car. Ever since beta 2, iOS 26 CarPlay only shows one widget. The screen definitely has space for more - it actually had two slots on beta 1!
