I really appreciate this take and understand why many people feel this way. My personal take is that Bruce has found happiness though as Batman. I love that some characters find happiness in relationships but Bruce’s purpose is his happiness. Love/giving up the cowl isn’t needed

Again, this is just my take - the great thing about these characters is that they’re adaptable, they evolve, folks can have their own take! I only say bc I think sometimes there’s this push to bring more solitary characters inside social constructs like marriage 1/2

Or retirement (like Indiana Jones) - there’s this desire to give them a happy ending, give them some familiar to path to mirror our own lives - but the whole power of the character is that their happiness comes from their purpose such that they defy conventional roles

i think what i liked most about fantastic four is its the first marvel movie in I don’t even know how long that actually felt like the people involved read a ton of fantastic four comics and had lots of respect for the material.

Dear Marvel You see when you let series go past 10 issues, and are not forced into 5 different events you get nice little side stories. Character development inside of a self contained issue that tells a story from beginning to end. No pressure to rush forward/ jump into the next

I think I'm going to rewatch #TheSuicideSquad (haven't seen it since it was in theaters) and finally start #Peacemaker
