LHCH thoracic audit day today. The brilliant and entertaining Prof Ottensmeier from University of Liverpool gave an inspiring talk about immune therapies in #LungCancer and #Covid_19. Really fired me up for more surgical research.

We are super happy that our Nature paper went public yesterday. Please find the open access paper at: nature.com/articles/s4158… we believe that this is potentially a really big step on how to make combination immunotherapy better for more patients.

it is also an amazing team effort: surgical and medical oncologists from our head and neck center, a multi center clinical collaboration with our friends in Poole, Southampton, Glasgow, amazing scientists in the La Jolla institute...

... and preclinical collaboration with teams in UCL, Cambridge, and of course CRUK who funded the clinical trial and the Amgen team who made drug available.
