I’m so moved by the gesture to include me in a mural alongside some iconic heroes, some actual legendary humans that I once taught my students about, some folks who still inspire me. Truly humbled. So thankful to students, that BSA & the educators who organized this tribute.

It is so needed for educators to have some charity for themselves in the present. I know that angst that comes along with July turning into August and the angst of having a to do list that is still too long while trying to soak up the summertime. Give yourself grace. Take time.
