On July 23, 2025, Nadia Mane earned her Master’s degree with distinction from the Université Dschang, Cameroon. Her thesis, supervised by Magellan Tchouakui(Wellcome Trust Fellow) explored the fitness cost of metabolic insecticide resistance in Anopheles gambiae, a major malaria vector.

On July 22, 2025, Merveille Awoufack defended her Master’s thesis at the Université Dschang with "Very Good" distinction. Her research on insecticide resistance in Anopheles gambiae adds vital insight to malaria control in Cameroon. She was supervised at CRID by Dr. Magellan Tchouakui.

On July 25, 2025, Jeffry Kemda defended his Master's thesis at Faculté Des Sciences de l'Université de Yaoundé 1, studying tick and Apicomplexa diversity in West Cameroon's cattle. Supervised by Dr. Basile Kamgang, his work received an "Excellent" distinction and shows promise for enhancing livestock production.
