When people say "The reason you can't trust science is that scientists used to say <thing that turned out to be wrong> but now they say <different thing>", they're actually explaining why science works so well.

๐ŸงตIf it's not a social contagion, what is it? It astounds me that there are still so many people out there who refuse to believe we're dealing with a social contagion of gender dysphoria. Surely there's never been a more obvious one in all of history./1

2. Why Do People Fall for Anti-Science? โŒ It feels empowering โ€“ They think theyโ€™ve uncovered โ€œhidden truthsโ€ that experts โ€œdonโ€™t want you to know.โ€ โŒ People love โ€œevidenceโ€ that supports what they already believe. โŒ Science is complex. Conspiracies are easy. 3/10

Would thoroughly recommend Dr Jonathanโ€™s services. We ordered this box of extreme weather and we have to say these are the best. Ready to deploy in minutes and delivery was very fast without the usual tariff and risk assessment nonsense you get from others. โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ

1/ What are the 3 biggest studies shaping what we know about autism? Theyโ€™re called SEED, CHARGE, and SPARK. Each is massive. Each tackles autism from a different angle. Together, theyโ€™re changing the science. Letโ€™s break it down.

Several well-designed studies show that COVID vaccination does not affect fertility, but that hasnโ€™t stopped John Campbell making a video claiming the opposite based on an absurd non-peer reviewed paper about birth rates in Czechia. youtu.be/0u7RGguXN9Q

Powerful yet simple from Steve Kirsch? Kirsch is celebrating the unvaccinated only dying at twice the rate of the vaccinated at the end of 2022 compared to more than 3 times the rate in his reference period. Let have a look. 1/

Dilbert creator Scott Adams has sadly got prostate cancer. After going down a rabbit hole during the pandemic though, he turned to Canadian quack William Makis who (as always) recommended ivermectin and fenbendazole. Which did not work. Now they're in an unseemly row over it. ๐Ÿงต

Interesting Fact of the Day: If Robert Jenrick were to catch 50 fare dodgers a day, recouping ยฃ2.90 each time for the taxpayer, it would take him well over 1,000 years to recoup the amount the taxpayer lost when he helped a major Tory donor avoid a ยฃ45m tax bill back in 2020.
