Calab Rigley has aspirations to have a career in music after collecting the grades he needs to hopefully study at Liverpool Media Academy. He tells me: "I play guitar, I sing a little. I'm inspired by David Gilmour so hopefully I can be in a band or something."

Corey Lackey is another engineering hopeful who is pleased with his "higher than expected" results. The 16-year-old tells me he's inspired to study engineering because his older brother is a project manager. Corey will study maths, economics, and applied science at A Level.

Fortunate enough to spend the day working with the team at Cardinal Heenan Catholic High School in Liverpool. It's one of the best schools I've seen recently for the clarity, simplicity and execution of its behaviour culture. Fantastic systems managed by very driven, compassionate people. Superb. Do

REMEMBRANCE DAY Today pupils and staff will observe two minutes silence to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom. During form time our pupils reflected on why we have Remembrance Day and learnt about the significance of the poppy.
