Meet Naimo Mahdi from Hargeisa, Somaliland. Born with a hearing impairment, she completed a 7-month beautician course implemented by CARE International Som through the Horumarinta Cilmiga Project IV, funded by EU Delegation Somalia. She now earns $200/month to support her large family.

The Drought Early Action Project in Somaliland, funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Germarny @WAHAFA, officially handed over the Drought Anticipatory Action Plan to Somaliland's Disaster Management Agency NADFOR, strengthening drought early action strategies.

🎓Congrats! 106 female graduates of Somaliland National Education College in Hargeisa, trained on class teaching by CARE International Som and funded by EU Delegation Somalia under Horumarinta Cilmiga IV, received their teacher trainee certificates and are now fully ready to teach across Somaliland!
