The current President of the United States is an untrustworthy narcissistic nut of the highest order, leading a band of angry, deplorable and incompetent individuals ie: RFK , Pete Hesgeth etc etc. The question I would ask myself as a cabinet member in Canada would be, do we

Waking up to this news abroad and confess to being totally confused about Trump’s goal here: Force more concessions before a deal? Sabotage any deal? Ensure tariffs go ahead? At some point, even the Canadians, as dependent as they are on US imports, are going to stop trying

White House confirms to CBC News this new Canada tariff would only apply to non-USMCA compliant goods. Perhaps the ultimate White House goal here is to relax on some Canada-US trade, but tariff the hell out of third-country goods transshipped through Canada.

Nothing is more revolting to me than men hiding their blatant racism under the guise of protecting women and children. They only care about femicide when the perpetrators aren’t white. It’s not always an illegal immigrant but it is always a man.

Canada Revenue Agency's biggest job losses will hit tax-related programs—a category which has the most staff to begin with—as 3,877 full-timers are projected to be cut from the agency, about nine per cent of the total, over the next three years. hilltimes.com/story/2025/07/…

Just listened to The Current on CBC Radio and heard a snippet again of interview where stepfather of missing kids in Nova Scotia says the first question RCMP Nova Scotia polygrapher asked was “did you kill Jack and Lilly…” That struck me as odd; turns out the research suggests it’s highly unlikely
