A huge thank you to Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP who sponsored our event today in Parliament. #FutureNeonatalServices

"It's not just what's now but what's next". A wonderful afternoon with Bliss Baby Charity at #Westminster today to hear all about their plans for #FutureNeonatalServices. It takes a village to raise a baby and it takes everyone together to raise (the voice of) a #neonate & #families.

Brilliant afternoon in Westminster yesterday for our Bliss Baby Charity reception to celebrate Neonatal Leave & Pay and set out our priorities for #FutureNeonatalServices - grateful to host Bell Ribeiro-Addy MP & awesome speakers Ngozi Edi-Osagie Sarra Hoy & Oti Mabuse

The perfect day for this repost, as the Neonatal Care (Leave & Pay) Act finally comes into effect. Introduced in 2022 by Stuart McDonald as a Private Member’s Bill, it will make the world of difference for thousands of families. What a legacy. #ThankYouStuart Bliss Baby Charity

A privilege to play my part by introducing the bill, but lots of people had been campaigning for this a very long time before me. All credit to Bliss Baby Charity The Smallest Things Working Families my old pal David Linden, & colleagues across different political parties.

The new Neonatal Care Leave and Pay is on top of existing parental leave entitlements. Our Chief Executive Caroline Lee-Davey tells Sky News why this is so significant for both parents being able to spend time with their baby 💙

Sam, dad of two premature babies and a Bliss Champion volunteer, joins our Chief Executive Caroline Lee-Davey and Dan Walker to explain why paid time off for parents in neonatal care is so vital Channel 5 News
