Ate at a restaurant and there was also a solo diner at the table next to me. When I was done, he said "wow I'm impressed you took down all that food!" And the waitress pipes, "me too!" God please, don't do me like this 😭

My mom liked the Costco panettone so much, she went back several times and (prior to trying it) didn't know how to say it correctly. Now she can say it right AND spell it (she corrected the Costco worker typing it when he was checking inventory)

For Christmas this year I got the worst cold I've ever had, been stuck with this illness since Monday. Happy Christmas and may you not be sick.

Update: my mom finally found some at our local Costco. The same scenario of having to correct the helping attendant spell this impossible pastry into the database. She bought three. As she opened one, she sang , "do you know how long I have been waiting for you?"
