There has been no public consultation with disabled people about the proposals on PIP. This is not just about process, it makes disabled people worse off. I've just asked what the Work and Pensions Secretary will do to ensure her department regains the trust of disabled people

I can’t support the welfare reform bill even with the changes put forward today because it creates three categories of claimant meaning more confusion- I hope the government listens to these concerns and rethinks the review process before proceeding.

I've been asking questions about the Green Paper and Welfare Reforms since they were announced. My concerns have not been alleviated by "concessions" and there's now a concern about breach of human rights and international law. I'll be voting against.

Today I voted against the Welfare Bill. The PIP clause was pulled mid debate but £billions in UC health element cuts remained. I'm glad the govt is listening and hope further common ground can be found.
