This is June. She’s 99 today. She loves her radio family. When I moved stations she got a smart speaker so she could still listen. Today her family invited me over to surprise her on her birthday. To see that smile fills my heart with joy ❤️ #radiofamily

It is important and the connection is incredible. June had a wonderful day and she knows how much she’s loved BBC Birmingham & Black Country visited her too and took cake, to see her so happy was wonderful.

All in all a lovely week topped off by a grand sunset. Now getting ready for a weekend in The West Country.
