Great work from The Herald, not least Rebecca McCurdy’s personal piece which everyone should read. Today’s politicians owe those 80,000 children a better chance. They can deliver it. Time for them to meet the challenge.

In today’s Scotsman ⁦Satwat Rehman⁩ and I on why defending the status quo is no longer an option. Politicians need to wake up to the change people want to see. Decent affordable homes, a job that pays and support when they need it. scotsman.com/news/opinion/c…

‘We no longer live in a country where a tweak to the status quo will meet people’s expectations. We can no longer accept that the only way for our people to prosper is to make small changes around the margins of how our economy works now.’

It's no bad thing that the UKG are looking for ways to re-instate the £300 per year that some pensioners have lost from Winter Fuel Payments. But how, then, can they defend the £4,500 per year loss ON AVERAGE, through PIP alone, they want to take away from disabled people? 🤨🤨

Ha’way the Lads. What a rollercoaster that was. Watched the 95th minute winner in the middle of some woods in Fife. Apologies to the squirrels for shouting. 🐿️⚡️
