6/ Eunice Stallman, MD then contacts an investigative journalist who notified BC of her involvement and requested appeal documents. Within hours of being contacted, BC approved Lorlatinib with a $5k/month copay and a letter that Zoey will have to undergo review again in 90 days.

7/ Doctors expect Zoey will need this drug for 6m-1y to shrink the tumor enough for surgery, costing the family an astronomical amount IF Blue Cross of Idaho even approves it past 90 days at all.

Hi Blue Cross of Idaho. This is my daughter that you tried to deny care for. When a team of expert Drs recommend a treatment, your PharmD reviewers don’t get to deny her life-saving care for your profits. Your alternative rec: “Talk with your child’s Dr about other options”. What?!

May you never see this MRI or scar in your own baby and experience the hell we are going through firsthand, reviewers Blue Cross of Idaho. But while you are denying others’ care from the comfort of your office, removed from it all, please remember you are toying with a LIFE here.

The spectacular Kimberly D. Manning, MD, MACP gave a powerhouse speech on humanism in action & the importance of recognizing the human being in front of you. Thank you Gold Foundation for the tremendous honor of bringing the opening plenary this morning at the #2024GoldSummit. I thought a lot about this talk and poured my whole heart into it. So grateful. 💛🐛 #humanismalways #inchworminchworm #beyondthemarigolds #IYKYK

U.S. Senator Bill Cassidy, M.D. I always believed we needed more physicians in government so they could act as good advocates for science. Now I am not so sure. You are a disgrace to our profession.
