Today, we secured 2 billion cubic metres of capacity at the Stade LNG terminal on the river Elbe. It will be operational in 2027 and will replace our current terminal in Eemshaven. Natural gas will continue to play an important role in the Czech energy sector in the years ahead.

In cooperation with ENESA a.s. of #ČEZESCO we installed a 2080-panel photovoltaic system on the roof of the PragueCongressCentre a centrally located building from the early 1980s. This project will save 10% of annual energy consumption and 5.5 million CZK per year.

Climate neutrality is not just a buzzword. For us, it is a commitment toward continuous investment in innovation. Our goal to be climate neutral by 2040 was recently verified by the globally respected Science Based Targets initiative. They concluded that we are on track to reach our goal.

Along with other companies, we have signed the Charter Against Domestic Violence. In doing so, we declare our zero tolerance for domestic or gender-based violence and have pledged to raise awareness of the issue and put in place processes to enable us to respond effectively.

Since November 2022, 30 ships have arrived in Eemshaven, with 2.7 billion m³ of liquefied natural gas for the Czech Republic, covering more than 1/3 of our annual consumption. The gas comes from the USA, Africa and South America. We plan to continue these deliveries.

The LNG terminal in Eemshaven, Netherlands, has a total capacity of 8 billion m³ of gas per year. We have secured 3 billion m³ of its gas capacity for the next five years, which will cover more than one-third of the Czech Republic's annual consumption.

We have committed to an ongoing systematic assessment of the impact of our business on the environment, landscape, ecosystems and biodiversity, in accordance with the recommendations and assessment criteria of the Taskforce on Nature-Related Financial Disclosures (TNFD).

As we are expecting a massive boom in electric cars in the future and we are continuously expanding our network of charging stations. Currently, we have the best proportion of ultra-fast and fast stations in Europe. We intend to continue our efforts and keep this position. 🚗🔌

Today, it is possible to build a 1 MW photovoltaic system on one hectare of land, whereas 10 years ago photovoltaic systems had half the power on the same area. Thanks to constant innovation and new technologies, PV systems are becoming more and more efficient.

We broke records in 2023 ⬇️ We connected 52 109 PV plants, which is +144 % compared to 2022. Of these, 85 % were with battery storage. We have also invested CZK 6.5 billion in strengthening infrastructure driven by renewable energy connection requirements.

The French company Orano Group will now provide uranium enrichment services to Dukovany. The cooperation was signed on the occasion of President Emmanuel Macron's visit to the Czech Republic. This is an important step for our nuclear power plants and the Czech energy sector.

We have improved our ESG rating! CDP gave us a B rating in the areas of: 🌍 tackling climate change 🌊 water resources management We are also among the top 20% of the world's top-ranked companies according to CSRHub.

Renewable energy in 2023: ✅ Covered the consumption of more than 700,000 households. ✅ Hydropower was the most efficient. ✅ The Dlouhé stráně hydro power plant produced the most (601 GWh). ✅ Renewables produced the most energy in April (278 GWh).

In 2023, we earned CZK 29.6 billion. This is the second highest profit in the last 10 years. EBITDA decreased by 5% to CZK 124.8 billion. The future of the Czech electricity industry will be based on renewables and safe nuclear power.

We have acquired a 55.21% stake in GasNet. The company manages a network of 65,000 km of gas pipelines, serving approximately 80% of customers in the Czech Republic. This is a strategic investment for our involvement in the Czech heating industry transformation.

CEZ Group's Q1 results align with expectations and reflect the gradual stabilisation of the energy markets. ➡️ Net profit reached CZK 13.6 billion, up by CZK 2.7 billion year-on-year. ➡️ EBITDA reached CZK 40.3 billion, up CZK 7.8 billion year-on-year.

We are ESG ranked among the top 10 % comapanies in the world by CSRHub. In the last three years, we have improved from 74% to 90%. Investing energy in ESG is good for business. A good rating opens doors to lower interest rates on loans linked to ESG indicators.

Today we handed over the evaluation report of the bids for the new units at Dukovany. The report recommends its preferred supplier of a new nuclear unit or units. The decision with whom to negotiate the final form of the contracts has the Government of the Czech Republic. 🇨🇿
