Congratulations to Audrey Annee & Rachel Wirts for being named to the Indiana All-Star Team. The duo led the Trojans to a 27-2 record & the semi-state championship game. The All-Star team will play the Kentucky All Stars on June 7 in Kentucky and June 8 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

After beating Indian Creek 9-0, the baseball team defeated Franklin 5-1 to win the county championship. AJ Beggs, Drake McClrug and Cal Schembra had one RBI and Carson Bush had two RBI’s in the title game.

CG will move into sectional 12 with Decatur Central, Franklin Central, Mooresville, Perry and Southport in basketball and volleyball over the next two years.

The 4x8 relay team of Marissa Pogue, Diana Hodges, Gretchen Meisberger and Hallie Mimbela earned all state honors with their 9th place PR finish today at the girls state track finals.

Khloie Walker earns all state honors with a 9th place finish at girls state track. Walker vaulted 11’0.

The 4x1 team of Ben Tapak, Daxon Sauer, Finn Sauer and Brady Dicken won all state honors with a podium finish of 2nd place. The team ran 42.35.

At the boys state track meet, Carter Pheifer placed 5th in pole vault. Pheifer won all state honors with his vault of 15-03.00.

Kyle Montgomery won all state honors today in the 1600m race at the boys track state finals in Bloomington. Montgomery placed 6th with 4:16.65.

In the 300 Hurdle race, Ben Tapak won all state honors with a 9th place finish. Tapak ran 39.24.

In the boys state track finals, the 4x400 relay team of Ben Tapak, Brevin Holubar, Daxon Sauer and Austin Hennessy placed 4th with 3:17.70.
