Hi everyone, I want to make a direct appeal to everyone who supports climbwithcharlie, when I pass,please help my lovely wife Claire and Tiger to continue the work of extending the hand of friendship to people in dark places and the charities I support. I really love you all.

All our hearts are broken, 1st Anniversary of Vicky passing. No words can describe the love and how she helped me to face my terminal illness.We met once at her home,but then kept in constant contact. I still have all her messages.Her family, who I met, you are close to me heart.

On Tuesday 5th of December,I will be joining in Dublin the remarkable Kevin Sinfield,English,Rugby League who has been running marathons raising millions for MND.In my wheelchair,and pushed by sports stars,I will join Kevin for the last 8k for IMNDA.🤣🙏

Tiger is extending the paw of friendship. Coming up to Christmas,Tiger asked me to do something for all our furry friends.I immediately said Yes.But I will still continue to highlight the great work of organisations close to my heart. Pieta,IMNDA,Hospice,Samaritans.

As I have promised, while I can,I am going to keep helping all the organisations close to my heart, and who extend the hand of friendship. And yes, the hospice is most certainly one of them. Also 5th December,I will be helping Kevin Sinfield with his marathon/MND fundraising run

Something remarkable is take place next Tuesday in Dublin. Kevin Sinfield,a rugby league star will be running a marathon,one of seven in seven days to raise funds and awareness for Motor Neurone. I will be joining him for the last 8K,in a wheelchair pushed by Irish rugby greats!!

Two amazing things have happened to me. I have been told the names of two great rugby stars who are going to push me next Tuesday in a wheelchair supporting Kevin Sinfield MND marathon. And Harry Crosbie sent this message out for my Elephant all money raised goes to Samaritans

Yesterday was an amazing day for raising awareness for Motor Neurone.The incredible English Rugby Star, Kevin Sinfield,fifth ultra marathon in a row. I was pushed for the last 8K by three of our rugby greats.Gordon D’Arcy, Keith Earls, Ian Madigan. The hand of friendship Wow.

This time last year I said I didn’t think I would see this Christmas. Thankfully I am still around and that is because of the support and kindness I have received from people all around the country.Yes my health has changed dramatically. I am wheelchair dependent now and tube fed

Last Christmas I didn’t believe I would see this Christmas.But the Love and prayers I received from across the country helped me so much.But the state of my health now I believe I won’t see next Christmas.But while I can I am going to continue extending the hand of friendship.

Extending the hand of friendship to everyone for the New Year. My Health has reached another crossroads .I have a number of projects that I want to do.Please God I will be able to do them from my wheelchair.Lets keep helping people in dark places. Thanks for your kindness.

A memory came up on my iPad today. It made me cry my eyes out.

My heath has changed completely. I now have to be hoisted in and out of bed.I want to thank my neighbours and carers for all they are doing for me.I was honoured I was able to join the Stardust relatives yesterday marking the 43rd anniversary of that dreadful night.

Last year I asked when I pass would you keep supporting Claire and Tiger with extending the hand of friendship to people in dark places. I got a great response.Where I am now in my journey,I want to repeat the call. I love you all 💕❤️

I want to extend the hand of friendship to all carers across the country. I now have first hand experience of the valuable work they do. I am still hanging in. And in April I will be leading a walk in Wicklow for all Samaritan volunteers. Details to follow
