COMPLETELY FAN-GIRLING over meeting Olivia Julianna 🇺🇸🦅🗳️ at Houston LGBTQ+ Political Caucus! I'm here on behalf of my dear friend and Texas SD15 candidate Karthik, an ally who believes Y'all Means All and wants to bring citizen-led ballot referendums to TX so we can enshrine abortion rights!

I had such a wonderful time discussing art and science and the beauty of genetics with Abraham Mamela, Nichola Garde, and Mariangels Ferrer for European Society of Human Genetics (ESHG)! It's such a dream come true to be able to marry my interests in genetics and the arts through opportunities like this!

I had a great time at #AWP24, and it was delightful connecting and reconnecting with so many folks from our Houston literary community! Even better was seeing Ricardo Nuila and representing Humanities Expression & Arts Lab (HEAL) together!

Happy #RareDiseaseDay2024 from your friendly local geneticists! BCM Department of Molecular and Human Genetics BCMHouston Texas Children's

Wonderful work by BCM Department of Molecular and Human Genetics folks, Dr. Seema Lalani, Blake Vuocolo, and others!

Just finished reading this luminous book by Novuyo Rosa Tshuma ahead of my conversation with her at BCMHouston on April 9. This is one of the best novels I've read in recent memory, and I'm so excited to chat with Novuyo about science and identity and memory and feeling!

📢📢Happening next Tuesday HEAL Speaker Series presents Author, Novuyo Tshuma as she discusses her latest book, 'Digging Science' in conversation with Dr. Chaya Murali Chaya Nautiyal Murali.

I'm excited to share my scoping review of factors influencing genetic testing uptake among parents of children with autism! link.springer.com/article/10.100… Written in collaboration with Robin Kochel, Sarah Mire, and Georgina Sakyi. BCM Department of Molecular and Human Genetics
