We had a wonderful first day of school Hopper Middle School !

Yesterday was fun! Students enjoyed locating positive rational numbers on the number line.

Falcon 9 launches 52 Starlink satellites to orbit

Students practiced Decimal operations with “The mall corner”. One student came to me with a valid argument “Nike shoes are way expensive than this 😂 “

Saturday camp was so much fun! 6th grade Math students enjoyed playing Blooket and card games to practice integer operations. Loved seeing them using strategies. They walked out with the bag of candies and big smile on their face.

Late post: This week, Algebra students enjoyed learning different ways to solve systems of equations. The fun part was making booklets.

6th grade Advisory students working on their STEM challenge. The winning team ended up making 17 inches tall tower using Index cards.

Last day before the Christmas break was so exciting! We loved making ornaments, Algebra way !

Algebra summer camp was an amazing experience. Cy springs cheerleaders at the pep rally for the camp finale.

It was incredible watching kids light up with understanding because the math made sense. Kiddos to chhaya thakkar for jumping in and learning FluidMath right along with the kids.
