If I get my teaching sorted this morning, and my emails done after lunch, I'll hopefully have just enough time to complete my 3 years of unfinished writing

agreed - as much as i'm excited about the potential of clocks as biomarkers of ageing, this is another reason to do more work to better understand clocks/biomarkers and their underlying causes and functional consequences (if any).

Absolutely fantastic session and panel discussion on Women’s Health & Longevity at Longevity Summit Dublin featuring Jennifer Garrison, Dr. Leoni Matt, Dr Chiara Herzog, and Judith Mueller. It was exciting to see all the progress, but disappointing and disturbing to hear how uninformed and

“Measuring aging is easy. Proving it matters in the clinic? That’s the bottleneck.” In Ep9 of Decoding Longevity, we talk to Dr Chiara Herzog (King’s College London) about the translational gap in aging biomarkers — and how we can bridge it.

We can clock your biological age with just a few drops of blood. So why isn’t your doctor using it? Because translating science into clinical tools is messy. Really messy. New episode with Dr Chiara Herzog 🎧 Ep9: The Biomarkers of Aging Bottleneck #aging #longevity #biomarkers
