Super thrilled to share a preprint from the lab biorxiv.org/cgi/content/sh… We found pH regulates the inflammatory response 🔥in #macrophage by controlling BRD4-dependent transcriptional condensates. In my lab led by Zhongyang Wu

We love this brilliant team! A constant source of inspiration for me and Chris Chidley 🤩

☕️In this issue: Chris Chidley, Sorger & co report a #CRISPR interference/activation #screening platform to systematically interrogate the contribution of nutrient #transporters to support #CancerCell proliferation in environments of variable composition. nature.com/articles/s4155…

So proud of our work (Brian Do and MVH Lab) exploring how nucleotide metabolism can impact cell fate which is now Developmental Cell. This was a fascinating and rewarding journey that started in metabolism and led us far afield (plus add in a pandemic and my move University of Michigan).

So so excited for this study to be out in the world! Super fun to work with Delgoffe Lab on this study IDing metabolites in the tumors that talk to the immune system. Let us know what you think!

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Alicia Darnell Alicia Darnell and Dr. Christopher Chidley Chris Chidley as our newest Assistant Professors 👋. pcb.duke.edu/news/pcb-appoi…

Truly moved and delighted to announce that Chris Chidley and I will open labs this September at Duke Pharmacology & Cancer Biology Department ! The Darnell lab will be delving deep into how amino acid limitation perturbs the ribosome at specific codons...

📢Super excited to announce that the Chidley lab will open Duke Pharmacology & Cancer Biology Department in September 2024, alongside the Alicia Darnell lab🥳. The Chidley lab will use genetic screening approaches to dive into the world of transporter proteins and explore how they drive the movement of nutrients,...

Finally! It is happening! After 6 years of hard work by formidable teams in 13 institutions RESOLUTE - Research Empowerment on Solute Carriers, we have ordered and validated the results and are able to share the FOUR (4) papers aimed at assigning functional properties to each human SLC #membranetransporter

Come join us! Faculty position in tumor immunology at Duke. Joint search between the Dept of Integrative Immunology DukeIntegrativeImmunobiology and our Dept of Pharmacology and Cancer Biology Duke Pharmacology & Cancer Biology Department. academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/29186

Hugues de The and I want to remind you that nothing has cured more cancer patients than conventional chemotherapy!!! Think you understand how it selectively kills cancer cells so well? Take a look inside. Dana-Farber Dana-Farber News
