1/N I’m excited to share that our latest OpenAI experimental reasoning LLM has achieved a longstanding grand challenge in AI: gold medal-level performance on the world’s most prestigious math competition—the International Math Olympiad (IMO).

It’s hard to overstate the significance of this. It may end up looking like a “moon‑landing moment” for AI. Just to spell it out as clearly as possible: a next-word prediction machine (because that's really what it is here, no tools no nothing) just produced genuinely creative

The intelligence for AI Agents for every vertical is just sitting in the best AI models right now waiting to be tapped into. The right domain understanding, tool calling, context engineering, and UX will unlock so many use cases. Then markets just grow as models improve.

I’ve shared this with my 14yo and he was like “LOL, so when you get Paracetamol, you get the pills plus more money than you’ve paid?” I’m honestly curious how the VCs-turned-MAGA folks feel about having someone run the country who they wouldn’t hire as a summer intern. I know

Also … he once again said that he “aced the IQ test”, referring to that dementia test where you have to know the difference between an elephant and a camel. 🤣

Benchmark is dead is absolute BS. No fund has played the AI wave of last 18 months better. Let me put this in context: In their most recent fund they have: Fireworks ($130M ARR) Sierra ($5BN valuation) LangChain ($1BN valuation) Mercor ($100M ARR in 11 months)

Did you hear the news? 🚨 It’s official: Mission Barns has USDA approval! We’re proud to share that Mission Barns is now the first and only company in the world to have approval to sell cell-cultivated pork fat. Read TechCrunch’s story here: lnkd.in/gmqqUJfh

Unpopular opinion, but this is what I’d do if I started a new company today: •6-year vesting (companies take longer to build) •2-year cliff (most breakups happen in the first 2 years) •Founding engineers/growth members get 5%+ but on the same terms as founders

The trillion dollar opportunity in enterprise software is AI Agents. The reason for this is AI Agents expand many software categories because most tools have been constrained by the number of users on the other end of the tool. Enterprise software traditionally enabled people

I agree with Aaron. AI will expand the market for software. What has me excited is that I think this will create many more software companies than we've seen in the past. Disclosure: I'm a bit biased here, because if there are a million new software companies, those

Tons of SaaS categories have been constrained by having a low number of potential seats. AI Agents deliver the actual work to the customer vs. just enabling it, thus creating uncapped consumption upside. This makes many new vertical and departmental AI plays viable.

No one is talking about this, but this is the bull case for AI and economic growth. AI spend is up 60x in construction. 35x in manufacturing on Ramp. Faster planning and smarter automation will transform these strategic industries. This is what drives US economic + labor
