I talk about a bunch of unrelated things on X. But actually, it's simple: I want a future where millions of autonomous boats & submarines explore & defend the ocean. Everything I work on is part of that - nautical charts, USV hardware prototyping, messing with boats, software

Every time I play with path planning algorithms I can't help but see the path as a really long worm. The worm always finds his way

The state of web mapping libraries that have 3D and support vector tiles & geometry is rough. Is it too much to ask to simply render high-precision terrain, and bathymetry, and the ocean, and moving vehicles, and weather overlays, and atmosphere shaders, and make it free??

I'm a late-night person, but my body's clock thinks a day is something like 23.9 hours. Once every few months I "loop around" and become an early-morning person. What a glorious few days those are

Love looking through old screenshots and seeing what random shit I was working on years ago, and how much I've learned since then. 2022: Beer pong robot 2023: Dead startup ideas 2024: Drone boat simulation in Unity 2025: SO many maps
