Marijuana rescheduling has stalled. The Controlled Substances Act has failed. The opioid crisis continues. We need to rethink drug scheduling from the ground up. But how? Excited to share Dave Pozen's and my effort, forthcoming in the Harvard Law Review and now up at SSRN.

I am truly honored to be this year's recipient of the L. Hart Wright Professor of the Year teaching award. It is a privilege to work with such amazing students. The world (and the legal system) will be better because they are in it. michigan.law.umich.edu/news/michigan-…

After reading Ganesh Sitaraman & Chris Serkin's "Post-Neoliberal Housing Policy" alongside Ezra Klein's interview of Zephyr Teachout & Saikat Chakrabarti, I think I'm finally starting to understand the crux of the Left's vehement reaction to Abundance. 🧡/22

Plaintiffs argue that the administrative offices of the federal judiciary constitutionally must be within the executive branch (and subject to FOIA), suggesting the president must be able to control them. I doubt Chief Justice Roberts would agree, but he's also a named defendant.

Adam Chilton is one of our most productive scholars, most popular teachers, and most devoted institutional citizens. And somehow we have convinced him to be our next dean. What a great day for UChicago Law School!

Domenico Grasso will serve as the university's interim president, effective immediately. Admired for his visionary work leading UM-Dearborn as chancellor since 2018, President Grasso will provide steady leadership during this critical time of transition. myumi.ch/3RR3E
