WATCH: Emory University Econ Professor Caroline Fohlin saw a protester on campus being violently arrested, and asked the police "What are you doing?" — then was violently thrown to the ground and arrested herself. Sickening.

We are rapidly normalizing meeting peaceful assembly with police force on college campuses. This is a genie that will not go easily back into the bottle. The slope couldn’t be slipperier. We are in a brave new world in higher ed, and anyone who doesn’t see it is delusional.
