This is an exciting time in the era of Covid-19. Truly in awe of the work of the many scientists, support staff and leaders who made these vaccines a reality in such a short time.

Called last night to help with VT management. Nice example of artifact so reassured. Great discussion at our morning teaching, with reminder about this NEJM classic paper by Bradley Knight nejm.org/doi/full/10.10… Penn Cardiology

Parahisian pacing can help identify route of retrograde atrial activation. Simple but eloquent (careful with pitfalls) Below is an extranodal response (pathway).Similar St-A time with ventricular capture (red) vs ventricular+His capture (blue) #EPeeps #Cardiotwitter #FOAMed

Do I have this right? - ABIM requires yearly fees from physicians who are already cert to “maintain certification” - no evidence that MOC helps pt care - ABIM will report you as “not certified” if you don’t pay - hospitals require certification Idk kinda sounds like extortion

#EPeeps #ESC2023 We know that asymptomatic AF of significant duration puts patients at risk for CVA. NOAH-AFNET 6 shows us that 6 minutes is not enough (assuming these AHRE were really AF episodes). Would have been surprising if it was. CardioNerds NEJM nejm.org/doi/pdf/10.105…
