Brilliant and very informative keynote talk by Dr Teresa Lynn Dr. Teresa Lynn this morning on #NLP and underrepresented languages such as Irish! #LSBC2024
Just checking the accepted papers at LREC COLING 2024, I was wondering which languages were in the spotlight. Among the 1544 accepted papers, 323 (21%) mention at least one language name in their title. Notably, 17 languages (incl. sign ones) appear >=5 times in the titles: #NLProc
Can anyone help me with the online system for #lreccoling2024 online access? This is all I see - no link to SIGUL Workshop live-streaming. "Jump to live session" takes me nowhere.. TIA LREC COLING 2024
Great poster from Jose Camacho Collados and comuni_carla - at Poster Area 1 now at #LRECCOLING LLMs struggle to detect mansplaining if not explicitly asked, but maybe not so surprising as many men also struggle to detect it? LLMs really do reflect the world (online and offline)
