Fascinating day on the beautiful University of Huddersfield campus at the 'Museums & Beyond' conference - mental health histories from England, South Africa, Sweden, Belgium & the Netherlands sensitively discussed - so much to ponder. Can't wait for tomorrow to explore Mental Health Museum #MAB

Still buzzing after Museums & Beyond! University of Huddersfield Mental Health Museum were great hosts & appreciated kind comments on my Crichton Royal Heritage talk: a song is remembered longer than description Emily Smith; using Jack tales for #mentalhealth histories was inspired Amanda Edmiston

What a fabulous 2 days it has been University of Huddersfield and Mental Health Museum. So many diverse, international (how great is that!) oral history projects...we can learn so much from each other at events like this. Huge thanks to Rob Ellis and Jane Stockdale for organising!
