I have & will always speak up and speak loudly for #patientsafety - it’s so vital that we elevate the voice of patients as well. #WorldPatientSafetyDay Never be afraid to speak up, raise concerns and encourage others to do the same . NHS Patient Safety National Guardian's Office 💙

It’s that time of year again in the NHS where we work in excessive heat conditions with air con that can’t be adjusted whilst awaiting the official email to say ‘ you may take your tights off ‘ 😂😂

Saw this on linked in … this is SO TRUE!! Failure to protect employees doesn’t just drive employees out, it keeps bullies in!! Spent so much time in my NHS career hearing of poor behaviour and bullies not being addressed, and who leaves ? Not them! So sad 😩

It really is vital reading James Titcombe - the copies you gave me when we met are still in circulation amongst midwifery colleagues across the midlands. It should be on uni curriculum readings lists as well for students. Painful to write for you, heart breaking to read 😔

I’ve had a few really interesting conversations recently with colleagues & students about women’s choices in pregnancy & birth. Resharing this document which I worked on with Birthrights - such a valuable tool for women and professionals. birthrights.org.uk/wp-content/upl…

Just spent an amazing hour with Gill Walton & Abbie Aplin 💙🇮🇪 sharing my experience of being a HOM / ADM within an NHS trust and why I decided to leave the role 2 years ago. Looking forward to writing something to help others & contributing to projects with Royal College of Midwives 💙 😄 😄
