Ok, this is a glimmer of light (literally) in Congress right now.

Susan Collins’ full statement in support of Jackson, noting the “process is broken.” “Part of the reason is that, in recent years, the process has increasingly moved away from what I believe to be appropriate for evaluating a Supreme Court nominee.”

In an unprecedented leak, we find out the Supreme Court really is trying to overturn Roe v. Wade, and millions of people in at least 23 states are about to lose their right to bodily autonomy. Congress, this is not a drill.

I joined my friend and colleague Senator Alex Padilla and a group of senators who also know the harsh realities and challenges of facing unprecedented wildfires to introduce legislation that will invest in research and alert systems for wildfires.

The DOE National Labs are absolutely incredible!! One quintillion calculations/second -- a new era.

Here we go! Huge science bill off to the President's desk. There is a LOT in here for scientific research, manufacturing, universities, climate, equity, and security. It is about much more than microchips -- it is an aspirational vision for U.S. leadership in science and tech.
