Well done to our team of ten employees who completed the 15k race at the Tough Mudder on Saturday. The team tackled 20 obstacles and so far have raised over £800 for our nominated company charity SAMH!

Today for #TBT we are looking back to a project that our Small Works Division completed for Cameron House Hotel. The project comprised of the formation of a new terrace extension to the existing ‘Great Scots Bar’.

We are making fantastic progress on the refurbishment George Hotel in Stranraer for Dumfries and Galloway Council with the zinc and slate roofing works soon commencing on site! We are also progressing with the installation of windows and façade repair works.

Last week we welcomed representatives from the University of Glasgow Estates team to the SNRC for a Behind the Build event. The group heard presentations from our director, Gerry Cummins, Caitriona Jordan from BE-ST and Rupert Daly from John Gilbert Architects.

Today for feature Friday we are looking at our refurbishment of Ashlea Court Care Home. The works comprised the refurbishment of 29 bedrooms with en-suites along with corridors, communal areas and staff areas including a new nurse office and meds room. clarkcontracts.com/expertise/care…

We recently welcomed Ellie from Vale of Leven Academy for work experience on our Glencairn House project in Dumbarton! We are currently completing major refurbishment works to create a museum and children’s library for West Dunbartonshire Council. Vale of Leven Academy West Dunbartonshire Council

On Saturday The MacTavish Cup was held at the recently renovated Bught Stadium in Inverness! We were delighted to be the main contractors on this project refurbishing of the existing grandstand and changing facilities, along with the construction of a new pavilion.

This weekend is Run Loch Lomond, which we were delighted to sponsor this year. The festival which consists of the Loch Lomond 10K, 5K and Fun Run and has over 1,000 runners taking part. We also have 8 employees taking part in the 10k and 5k events to raise money for SAMH!
