I don’t give up #FBPE #FBNHS🌻 Lots of typos particularly when angry about the way women are treated in the NHS. Views are my own

I have spent months speaking to women who felt “violated” after facing horrific pain in NHS hysteroscopies. It is not routine to offer anaesthetic. Many are told they will manage on paracetamol. But one in three face “severe pain” Hysteroscopy Action bigissue.com/life/health/wo…

Andreia Trigo RN BSc MSc We're delighted @SedateUK & @ChelWestFT have pioneered safely monitored moderate sedation as a pain control option for hysteroscopy. Sadly we've seen VR used at Whipps Cross with NO analgesia & NO anaesthesia. Please what is ChelWest's VR OPH analgesia+anaesthesia protocol?

Clem Cowton Carry-on- Clarky I am so sorry for your loss. I had a miscarriage many years ago and had D&C under GA. A LA will only numb the cervix. So it's not surprising you felt cramps & suffered anxiety. However VR should not replace adequate pain relief by using distration. Its 2025.

Andreia Trigo RN BSc MSc Hysteroscopy Action I have had sedation with analgesia remembering nothing of the hysteroscooy procedure. No need for a head set. Sick of hearing about distration techniques like we are delicate little loves.

I think the SoS is using the wrong accountants? If the water co's put their liabilities against their assets they would be worthless. Renationalise for free.

Laura Davies I don’t believe any hospital would invest in this set up if they didn’t intend to encourage/ advise /coerce sufficient numbers of women into taking this no anaesthetic pathway. Looks like cost cutting to me.

I rely on doctors to keep me alive. If my heart wobbles and they arent there, im screwed. Yet i support the strike by junior (resident) doctors. Because someone whose bust a gut for years to qualify, who saves lives, is worth 22 quid an hour. Its not complicated.

I don’t how often I have to say this before women take it in: (many) men simply do not see women as fully human like themselves. When women fight back against oppression it’s like they can’t quite believe it, much as they’d respond to a talking dog.

Wes Streeting has said that pay restoration is a journey When you take inflation based on the current RPI of 4.4% into account, this year’s pay offer amounts to an 1% increase At this rate it would take about 20yrs to recover the 21% pay erosion since 2008 theguardian.com/society/2025/j…

Today Ofsted has judged TWO children's homes run by the same company inadequate, with serious and widespread failures that mean children and young people are not protected. Take a bow, Dimensions Care Limited

The government /Wes Streeting leaked its own letter to the BMA. No credible offer. No pay proposal. And now, no trust. If Wes Streeting thinks spin will fix a broken system, He’s not negotiating. He’s campaigning.

The more I think about it - the more convinced I am - Sunak knew exactly what he was doing when he called a snap GE. He surveyed the social & economic wasteland that the UK had descended into after 14 Tory yrs - panicked -then cut & ran. He did what Cameron did after Brexit.

Does Wes Streeting want these strikes to happen? He’s made no offer, no commitment, and had months to prepare. He can't agree to paying doctors 22.67£/hr. With all the private healthcare linked donations he’s taken, does he want the NHS to fail? share.google/7y8PdeRm0s4Mrj…

Dr Shivam Sharma it's strange when politics intersects with healthcare. leaves us pondering: do financial motives overshadow public trust? let’s keep the discussions transparent and impactful.

Tbf, any person recommending and carrying this out should either have gone through the entire procedure in real life or have the pain these women suffer simulated whilst they use this equipment to see if it works. Women are not medical experiments.
