1/My late friend Ed Broadbent wrote a great deal, and much of it hasn't really been seen for decades—a fact I am looking to change. With that in mind, I've teamed up with Clem Nocos and the Perspectives Journal to republish select pieces from Ed's back catalogue.


3/Throughout the 1960s, Canadians across the political spectrum were becoming increasingly concerned about US domination of their country's culture and economy. An important site of debate was Canadian Dimension, whose editors in 1967 called for a socialist-liberal common front.


Canadian Dimension 4/Ed Broadbent, then a professor of political science at York responded in Dimension's next issue, arguing that socialists and liberals had distinct projects that would make any such effort both incoherent and impossible.
