This week marks #MentalHealthAwarenessWeek! The theme is 'community'. COSLA's Health and Social Care Spokesperson, Paul Kelly 🇺🇦, welcomed the focus of Mental Health Awareness Week and highlighted the importance of community and connection for mental health ⬇️


Earlier today, the latest meeting of COSLA’s Sport and Physical Activity Special Interest Group heard a range of presentations from VisitScotland, Glasgow 2026 and sportscotland focused on major events & Scotland’s sporting estate The next meeting is scheduled for 19 August



Karin Goodwin Minister for Mental Wellbeing Maree Todd and Paul Kelly 🇺🇦 are taking part in a panel discussion led by members of our lived and living experience panel. The minister tell delegates that, "Everyone should be able to get support they need, when they need it."
